Frequently Asked Questions

Here you can find answers to common questions about our physical therapy services and how we can help you.

A prescription or referral for physical therapy is NOT required for you to be seen based on GA laws and Physical Therapy state practice act. You can make an appointment for a 15- 20 min phone consultation with me right now (to ensure you will truly benefit from physical therapy with Envision Physical Therapy at this time).

Having quick or immediate access to your physical therapist can often be the difference between your condition being acute or temporary and chronic.

During your first mobile therapy session, you can anticipate a personalized and convenient experience. Your session will begin with an initial assessment where I will gather more information about your medical history, current condition, and specific recovery goals.

After a full body functional assessment, I will create a personalized recovery plan for you. Yes, I will address your current ailment, but I will also analyze your whole body. This is because my goal is to understand exactly what is going on. Find the root cause of the problem to truly treat your dysfunction.

You can find quick relief of pain or regain your function quickly, but this is not always the case. Some ailments require more work to address the underlying issue that is causing your dysfunction. I will work hard to help you reach your goals, but you are expected to put in some work to reach your goals.

Every patient is taught how to treat themselves at home using self-treatment techniques, activity modification strategies, and corrective exercise. You will receive a personalized recovery plan for treatment and long term prevention of your condition so you can stay fit, healthy, and mobile without needing more pain medications, injections, or surgery.

Initial evaluation and treatment sessions typically last around 45 to 55 mins depending on your treatment plan and needs.

For most insurances the answer is Yes!

At the conclusion of your physical therapy session just ask for your “superbill” and it will be provided to you. You will submit this superbill to your insurance company, and then they will determine compensation.

Envision Physical Therapy is considered an “out of network” provider, so you will need to check and ensure your policy covers out of network services prior to submission.

Yes, we accept both FSA and HSA as payment for our physical therapy services!

If you do not have health insurance or plan to self-pay for our services and do not plan to file a claim with your insurance, we will provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of our costs when you schedule at least 3 days in advance. If you would like to request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling, please call the office or email us at
